Just like my last thread. Exactly as the title sounds. I'm not huge on books either, but I feel like I need to post more than "How the title sounds" So I did like The Giver. Also a book called Homecoming. Don't ask me for the authors, I'll never remember. x.X (First forum smiley lol)

Hmm...the most recent book I read that I really liked was Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Case, but in terms of overall...that's a tough call. Of course, the Harry Potter series comes leaping to mind, and I did like what little of the Artemis Fowl series I read back in the day...

Hmm...the most recent book I read that I really liked was Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Case Holy Crap. That was SO good. I read it all in one sitting despite the fact I was hanging out with my friends at the time. XD

The Warriors series by Erin Hunter. It's about cats. But it's seriously awesome.

J So I did like The Giver. Is that the one about the Utopian society that practiced euthanasia and had magical old people?

Hmmm First thing that comes to mind is LotR. But War of the Worlds, Angels & Demons, and Hitchikers's guide to the galaxy are all up there. Alltough the last series gets VERY confusing and just completly random.

I'm still reading it, but The Dead Zone by Stephen King is excellent. I read grown-up books!

I have to say, though i don't read much, that either Eragon or Eldest are my favorites. Nothing else comes to mind, on the spot, that I like more than either of those two. They are amazing. And the third one comes out very soon so I can't wait.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is far and away the best book series I've ever read, it somehow manages to be both intellectually provocative and hilarious at the same time. Douglas Adams was a master of comedic writing but is distinctly British. If you didn't know that he was British then you can quickly discern it in the first few minutes, so if you're not a fan of British humor then perhaps you won't enjoy Hitchhiker's Guide, but they're still excellently written books with a captivating story. I was so enthralled that I read all 6 books in two days, I could not put it down. Anyways that's enough rambling for now.
